Cheers to the Class of ‘87

(found this in an old box of Barbe keepsakes...
it brought back lots of great memories of you all!)
It all started four short years ago. We were freshmen, the youngest of the old. That feeling was great, we acted so cool. Don’t mess with us were in high school! Remember the looks the Seniors would give us? And, all of the books that we always had with us?! After the first year it wasn’t so bad. Now we can drive, oh gosh, are we glad. The junior year was best, we were no longer the underclass. Just 2 short years until we get a rest, how long can this year last? It’s time now for the ringman to visit and sell us lots of things. I guess girls will date guys their own age, since they have senior rings!
Well, gang, here we are big seniors walking tall. Did I say junior year was best? Now that’s not true at all. We love this feeling of leadership and being in charge of things. It’s awesome to be at home when the 2:45 bell rings! Big seniors, I must say I am very proud of you. Just show your pride in years and respect the old Big Blue. Now, as we part and go our separate ways, for each of us I pray. I hope in 10 or 20 years we can meet again one day. Come decades from now, when our lives are complete, lets all unite in Heaven. But, for now, while we are still full of life, a toast…Cheers to the class of ’87!!!
